Breaking a Decades-Long Stronghold
For decades, one player dominated the CRE appraisal software space. Rockport VAL set out to change that. Their goal: land a major U.S. bank client within six months — a mission that would signal their legitimacy and challenge the monopoly. But to do that, Rockport needed to reintroduce itself to a niche, tightly-networked audience of appraisers and bank executives who were comfortable with the status quo and unaware of VAL’s potential.
OUR SOLUTION
A Brand Built for Battle
We repositioned the entire company under a new umbrella, The Rockport Group, using its 20-year legacy to reinforce credibility. A streamlined new website showcased VAL’s strengths and positioned it as “The Alternative.” To drive awareness and conversions, we ran a precision campaign across LinkedIn, Google Search and Display, Facebook, and YouTube. Creative assets directly tackled pain points and offered a clear path to demos and trials.
